Flowers have carried meaning for centuries. Almost anything can be expressed through a particular bloom — a quiet language

I have created this piece in a soft, neutral palette, inspired by the textured beauty of aged European walls. The flowers are created with hand sculpted fabric petals that are painted, shaped, sewn and applied to the canvas, creating depth and movement.

I developed this distinctive tactile mixed media process blending painting, textile art, sculpture, and ceramics. Through this process, the flowers grow out of the movement of fabric and acrylic paint and mediums. At the center of each flower is an intricate ceramic element created during my artist residency in Portugal.

I love creating them, and I hope they bring you a sense of joy, calm, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
