In May 2025, I completed a two-week artist residency at Hotel Sainte Valière in the Occitanie region of southern France. The residency provided dedicated time to experiment with integrating textiles, stitching, and sculptural fabric forms into my acrylic paintings.

This marked a major evolution in my practice.

Surrounded by vineyards, wildflowers, and historic architecture, I developed new techniques that merge fine art and fibre processes, resulting in a more tactile and dimensional body of work. This experience was transformative, inspiring new directions and laying the foundation for future international projects and exhibitions.
